Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in the S.T.E.M. area of education, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions and support for students eager to participate in NASA HUNCH Design and Prototype projects.
The NASA Virtual Internship Program is designed for student-led collaborative career exploration that benefits the student and will be tailored to each students’ individual learning interests. The purpose of this program is to be a not-for-profit scholarship promoter and booster club that introduces and funds projects worked on by students under the NASA HUNCH Design and Prototype program. By measuring the students’ learning through their improvement and mastery of the subject matter, they will gain skills and rigor that can only be gained from such a workplace experience.
We work directly with HUNCH and high schools across North Texas to ensure that we can provide students with the funding, support, and networking they need to succeed.

We provide opportunities for high school students to take part in a limited number of NASA HUNCH Design and Prototype projects in the course of a 9-week summer internship. Students can team up to begin their project, present to HUNCH leaders, and interact with NASA Engineers for key insight in developing projects for the competition!
We provide a special program to encourage S.T.E.M. students in high school to work on the NASA HUNCH Design and Prototype program virtually with students across the nation. We're excited to involve more schools in our program, which can be used to match TEXAS TEKs, as part of a club, as part of a home school team, etc.
We're currently raising funds for participants in our summer internship programs. This allows us to provide students with supplies to construct their projects and award partial college scholarships to participating students! Your support and contributions allow us to meet our goals and provide the best support for our students!
A nonprofit is as strong as the community that holds it together. For this reason, we encourage previous NASA Hunch Design and Prototype competitors, NASA VIPS participants, and others with backgrounds in S.T.E.M. fields to join as as coaches for upcoming high school students. Work with the next generation of students in the NASA VIPS program!
As we guide and support students throughout their S.T.E.M. education and projects, we're also eager to work with NASA HUNCH Design and Prototype leaders to research and develop projects for the future! Our research team is comprised of S.T.E.M.-oriented college undergraduates to brainstorm, test, and introduce new concepts and projects for HUNCH competitions.
